After a mild November, London was apparently aware December was coming as the temperature has plummeted over the past few days! I quite like the cold; my Northern upbringing possibly explains that oddity but what could be better than gorgeous crisp mornings, piling on chunky knitwear, and wandering the streets absorbing London’s many Christmas decorations and window displays?
On Saturday CT and I did Yourvine/Time Out’s Love London scavenger hunt. You may’ve seen the ASOS challenge that was all over the internet last month but basically Yourvine work with brands to offer rewards in return for completing tasks. We actually took part in the scavenger hunt purely for fun but I was happy to discover one of our rewards was a drink from my favourite bubble tea place, Bubbleology, and I was pretty much ecstatic to learn that they also offer their drinks hot (I opted for almond milk and it was heaven!)
Sunday was all about a late get-up, an easy-peasy cooked breakfast, a video call with the sis in Australia, Christmas shopping and an evening stroll down the South Bank. Not a bad start to December.
