New in: an old classic

As long-time readers will know, this year I’ve been all about investment pieces, buying fewer but better quality items that’re less trend-led and that I’ll love forever.

I shared my joy when I found the perfect white shirt and I scored another jackpot recently when I discovered these Michael Kors beauties in the Kurt Geiger sale. They tick every box: they’re black, they’re leather, they’re not too high, but not too low either, the toe is the perfect almond shape, and the mirrored heel adds just the edge I wanted to stop them being considered boring. I think it might be love.
