Tweed and faux fur

It’s red cup time! Which of course means it’s obligatory for all female bloggers to pose with one as an outfit photo prop – et voilà!

I’ve had the laziest of weekends; highlights include compulsory Friday night drinks, reading the new ELLE, munching on an Indian takeaway, Skyping the sis & her beau in Oz, and drooling over Daniel Craig in “Casino Royale” (have you seen “Skyfall” yet? I thought it was amazing!).

I threw this on for brunch today: I’m pretty much in love with this tweed and faux fur coat from Wallis. I know I just posted about my new wool cocoon coat but a girl can never have too many choices, especially now it’s so cold here in London! Plus, tweed is one of my all-time favourite fabrics; I wear it year-round but of course it comes into it’s own for autumn/winter.

I hope you all had wonderful weekends! Who’s been to a Bonfire Night event? I can’t believe all the London ones charge for entry, you wouldn’t get that up North! Saying that I can actually see fireworks out of my window right now so I think I’m the winner here… ;)
