K.C. and The Sunshine Band “Boogie Shoes”:

Last September I attended Sarenza’s AW11 bloggers event where I spent the evening ogling new-season shoes and got chatting to Tor of Fab Frocks: she told me she’s one of Sarenza’s brand ambassadors and became the source of my knowledge about this amazing blogger/brand partnership.

Since then I’ve read about the antics and ever-expanding shoe collections of the brand ambassadors with a combination of interest (show me a girl who doesn’t love shoes and I’ll show you a pug with a cheerful expression) and jealousy. Ok, jealousy isn’t attractive but it’s hard not to be envious of people who receive free shoes and are whisked off on trips to Paris! So when I heard that Sarenza are hunting for a new brand ambassador how could I not apply?!

As you’ve probably guessed this post is my entry into the competition. All I had to do was narrow down 20,000 pairs of shoes (20,000!!) to just 1 favourite – hmm not so easy then. However as soon as I laid eyes on these red leather high heels from footwear legend Terry de Havilland I knew they were The One(s).

The ‘Charlie’ is also available in yellow and cream but in this cheerful tomato red colour option, with their chunky heel and 70s vibe, I think these are just perfect for SS12! At £369.90 they’ll have to go on my ‘I wish’-list but the heart wants what it wants…

Sarenza is rapidly growing but just in case you haven’t come across them before… they’re a French-based footwear retailer who stock over 400 brands, offer free delivery and returns (including a generous 100 days to send back anything you don’t want!), plus anything ordered before 12pm is despatched that very same day! You can’t get better than that.

I really wish there would be blogger competitions without the voting element. It really takes the fun out of a competition, it should be purely down to the best blog post. Oh well, I will vote for you, you certainly have the one of the most creative posts I read. x

I do get what you mean, it just becomes a popularity contest where the blogger with the most followers wins – and as this blog is quite new I don’t have as many as I did (yet, hopefully!). But the prize is such a great opportunity I just had to give it a shot.

Presuming I do make the top 5 I really would appreciate your vote :)
