I’ve written before about lingerie brand Boux Avenue: as a girl who likes fancy lingerie (but not the three-figure price tag often associated with it) I’ve been a fan of this British brand from the start and was very happy to find out they were opening a store in central London.
So this morning I jumped on an early train to Westfield London for the opening of the shiny new flagship; greeted by super-friendly, super-knowledgable staff and lots of yummy pastries, smoothies and juices, it was a rather nice way to start the day!
Not only does Boux Avenue sell lingerie, swimwear and nightwear (all glamourous, none tacky), they also stock accessories and beauty products. I made a ridiculously long mental shopping list, fawning over fluffy mules with Jazmine (a little birdy told us they’ll soon be available in a leopard print option!) and crushing on the tie-up ballet slippers and tutus.
I am of the opinion that all fitting rooms should be modelled after Boux Avenue’s; with 3 mood-lighting settings (day, dusk, night), free bra fittings, a ‘concierge’ service (“I’m in the ‘Chiffon’ room, please can I try a 32C instead?”), and plush carpets, it is the shopping experience of dreams.
Boux Avenue have more store openings planned but if there isn’t yet one local to you their online store offers free returns (and often free delivery) and from what I’ve heard the customer service is second-to-none.
