While undertaking a wardrobe clear-out earlier this week I rediscovered several pairs of once-loved jeans languishing in a forgotten pile. While I have been more adventurous with my denim recently, playing with coloured and printed denim, I do think most of us are guilty of reaching straight for the skinnies.
So when I spotted this pair of boyfriend jeans I decided it was time to give them an outing. And I’ve worn them every day since. Isn’t it weird how a pair of jeans that are barely looser than a straight leg felt baggy at first? I think it might be time to break out my flares again, to help me gain a sense of perspective…
Do you have a favourite pair of jeans or do you like to mix up your silhouettes?
Speaking of boyfriends, Chris and I spent yesterday afternoon having a lovely, lazy wander around the V&A museum. We’ve both only been once before and I think we enjoyed it a lot more this time, although I think it’s somewhere you could visit every week of the year and still discover something new every time. If you’re a Eurythmics fan you must visit The House of Annie Lennox display, and I loved the Beatrix Potter exhibition. I hope you’re having a lovely weekend!
p.s. Want to see an ‘outtake’ from when Chris was taking these photos? I think Amber would be proud.
