New winter essentials

Well hello November! Can you believe how fast this year’s gone (#shitgirlssay)? While I’ll miss autumn, I’m not too sad about the arrival of winter (even if I have come down with another bug) because it means shopping for one of my favourite new season purchases – a coat!

Before we get to that, I must draw your attention to my new arm candy…! I mean it literally when I say the Bayswater is my dream bag; I’ve lusted after it since it’s launch in 2002 and I never thought I’d ever have one of my very own! My boy spoilt me with a Mulberry gift card for my birthday so I did what any logical woman would do and put it towards something I’ll treasure forever.

Back to my winter coat! I knew just what I wanted (it’s on my investment piece wishlist) and had a scarily-strong feeling that a browse of TK Maxx would be successful; when I was visiting family in Manchester recently this beauty was just waiting for me in the Gold Label section. Even better, it was only £99 (RRP £275!) and I had another gift card! So yes, I’m a very, very happy girl right now. Prepare to get bored of seeing these babies over the next few months. I wish I’d seen this a couple of days ago, I could kick myself for not thinking of going to TK Maxx to buy my winter coat! Yours is fab.

Warehouse have a great selection this year, they came to my rescue after hours of traipsing around Oxford Street yesterday!

Love the coat! And obviously the bag!
I had no idea the Bayswater was so young! I would have guessed that it had been around since before 2002!
I bought mine after over a year of seriously hard saving up in 2010 and it still looks amazing now. It’s getting a tiny bit worn around the piping at the bottom but mostly it still looks quite new and I’ve used it nearly every day. They are such a good investment. I’ve had my matching wallet since 2009 which my wonderful husband got me as my 21st birthday present and that still looks brand new too.
