“Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, close bosom-friend of the maturing sun”
- John Keats
I adore autumn. What’s not to like about crisp sunny days, crunching through freshly-fallen leaves, and reintroducing stews, soups and hot chocolate to my diet?
I’m also a fan of the heritage trend that rolls around every year; my wardrobe contains a substantial amount of wool, tweed and bouclé in autumnal shades, and I love the back-to-school feeling of pulling everything out of it’s vacuum bag at the start of another season.
Of course it won’t be long before it’s too cold for bare legs so I’m currently making the most of the opportunity to go sans-tights – though I’m admittedly looking forward to layering up as the mercury drops! What do you love about autumn?
