When it comes to transitional dressing, I’m the worst. Obviously this doesn’t bode well for someone living in a country that mostly experiences a between-seasons kind-of climate – Britain tries it’s hardest to show us some sun but can’t quite get there, bless it.
As a result my staple uniform is shirt + jeans + ballet pumps/brogues + statement necklace. It just always works. So when Manchester-based (♥!) Glamorous offered to send me a piece I was immediately drawn to this top; old habits die hard but the polka dot print and cut-out collar add interest!
I spent ages browsing the site before making my choice so I’m happy to say I really love this shirt! It was ideal for shopping yesterday, first rummaging outdoors in Camden Passage before moving inside to Westfield Stratford, and I was approached twice in Topshop by girls asking if I worked there – surely an official seal of approval from the fashion masses?! What do you think?
