Hello and wishing you a happy 2012!

Let’s start at the beginning.

This may be my first post but blogging is an adventure I began some time ago at Blah Blah Becky (update: now defunct). It’s a blog that served me well in the 2 years I spent writing it. Recently however, I’ve come to despise the name more and more. It’s something that popped into my head and I started using with no consideration – after all it described the content of my blog at that time, which was basically anything I wished to post about.

As I’ve found my voice and my writing has started to focus mainly on the same set of topics I’ve often considered changing to something a little more ‘grown up’-sounding, not to mention something that gives some indication as to what I’m actually posting about.

Hence, life/style/flash.

I will add that the ‘flash’ doesn’t refer to the fact I’ll be undertaking any nakedness (there’s plenty of that on the internet already): ‘flash’ is there to represent photography and also the fact that life and fashions change in an instant.
