Despite the snow currently blanketing London I had a lovely, action-packed weekend: I moved house, did most of my unpacking, and made time to indulge in a little bit of shopping, treating myself to fancy new pillows for a steal.
CT and I also exploited the fact London was deserted by roaming round some of our favourite – usually busy – areas, including both of our new neighbourhoods. Comfortable footwear was obviously essential and any excuse to wear my Hunter’s is welcome so I could kick myself for leaving my yellow wellies at my parents’ after Christmas (my suitcase just couldn’t accommodate them).
Speaking of winter essentials, I’ve just realised this is a landmark post: my first wearing a hat! They usually look hideous on me but this Cossack hat seems to work, possibly because it’s so OTT it gives me the appearance of a nonchalant, pro hat-wearer…? Whatever the reason, it’s kept me toasty on many occasions and at times like this that’s my priority! Happy Monday!
What I wore: Zara shirt | Jaeger skirt | Aubin & Wills jumper | Hunter boots | Wallis coat* | Primark hat | Next bag | Pringle socks (via TK Maxx)
